Rebranding · End-to-end

A rebrand is a promise.
We make it look, wear, and drive the part.

Most agencies hand you a PDF and disappear. We design the new brand — then we screen-print it, embroider it, install it on your storefront, and wrap it on your fleet. All under one roof in Princeton, MN.

Six signals it's time to rebrand.

Rebranding isn't about being trendy. It's about closing the gap between the business you run now and the way it shows up to the world. If any of these hit, let's talk.

01

Your logo doesn't scale

It looks fine on a business card, but blurs out on a truck door, breaks on a hat, or disappears on a sign at 50ft.

02

You've outgrown your look

The brand you built at the kitchen table doesn't match the business you run today. Customers can feel that gap.

03

Nothing matches anymore

Every shirt, invoice, sign, and social post uses a different color, font, or version of the logo. It's chaos.

04

You blend in

Competitors are louder, cleaner, and more consistent. You're the best in town at what you do — you shouldn't look like the fourth-best.

05

M&A, pivot, or new leadership

The business changed. The brand needs to catch up so customers, staff, and vendors are all on the same page.

06

You cringe every time you send a file

You know the logo is dated. You know the fonts are wrong. You've been meaning to fix it for two years.

02 · Know the difference

Refresh, rebrand, or rebuild?

Not every business needs a full teardown. Part of our discovery process is figuring out which of these three moves actually fits.

Same brand, cleaned up

Refresh

Your identity still works — it just needs to be modernized, tightened, and made consistent across every touchpoint. Faster and lighter than a full rebrand.

  • Logo cleanup
  • Color/type tune-up
  • New apparel/sign consistency
Most common
New identity, same business

Rebrand

The business is stable but the brand no longer reflects it. New logo, new system, coordinated rollout across apparel, signage, and vehicles.

  • New identity system
  • Brand guidelines
  • Coordinated rollout
New name, new story

Rebuild

The business is changing — merger, pivot, split, or new ownership. New name, new narrative, new brand from the ground up.

  • Naming + positioning
  • Full identity build
  • Launch campaign
03 · The process

Strategy → design → printed, wrapped, installed.

Five phases. One team. Zero handoffs to a print shop that doesn't know your brand.

01

Discovery & Strategy

We sit down (in person, on Zoom, or over coffee) and unpack the business. Who you serve, what you sell, where you want to be in 3 years, and what the brand needs to do to get you there.

Deliverables
  • Brand brief
  • Audience & competitor review
  • Positioning direction
02

Identity Design

Our in-house design team builds the visual system — logo, wordmark, color palette, typography, and the rules that hold it all together. You get real options, not one safe idea in three colors.

Deliverables
  • Primary + secondary logos
  • Color + type system
  • Brand guidelines PDF
03

Rollout Design

We take the new brand and design every touchpoint you actually use — apparel mockups, signage, vehicle wrap concepts, business cards, social templates, storefront graphics, and more.

Deliverables
  • Apparel mockups
  • Wrap renderings
  • Signage & print layouts
04

Production

This is the part most agencies hand off. We don't. Everything we designed gets printed, stitched, cut, and installed in our own shop in Princeton, MN. One team, one accountability line.

Deliverables
  • Screen print / DTF / embroidery
  • Signs, banners, decals
  • Vehicle wraps & installs
05

Launch & Support

We help you launch the new look — staff apparel day-one, wrapped vehicles ready, storefront installed, digital assets delivered. Then we stay on-call for whatever comes next.

Deliverables
  • Launch kit
  • Digital + print asset library
  • Ongoing brand support
04 · What gets rebranded

Every place your brand shows up.

A brand isn't a logo — it's the sum of every place a customer sees you. We design and produce all of it.

Logo & Wordmark

01

Primary, secondary, monochrome, and one-color variants — built to work everywhere from a tee sleeve to a semi trailer.

Color System

02

Print (CMYK/Pantone), screen (HEX/RGB), and thread/vinyl matches so every version of your brand actually matches.

Typography

03

A type system that scales from a hat patch to a highway billboard without falling apart.

Brand Guidelines

04

A real PDF your team can hand to any vendor — logo usage, spacing, do's and don'ts, tone.

Apparel Program

05

Uniform shirts, hoodies, hats, hi-vis, embroidered polos. Designed once, reorderable forever.

Vehicle Wraps

06

Full, partial, and fleet wraps designed on real vehicle templates and installed in-house.

Signage

07

Storefront signs, monument signs, wayfinding, trade show, and interior branded environments.

Decals & Stickers

08

Die-cut, kiss-cut, window graphics, hard-hat stickers, giveaway packs.

Print Collateral

09

Business cards, brochures, folders, invoicing templates, promo product runs.

Digital Assets

10

Email signatures, social templates, favicon, profile art, launch announcement kit.

05 · Straight talk

The stuff nobody tells you about rebranding.

"A rebrand is just a new logo."

A logo is one piece. A rebrand is the full system — colors, fonts, voice, apparel, signage, vehicles, and how it all shows up together. A new logo without a system just adds another version to the pile.

"We'll lose our customers if we change."

Customers stay loyal to the experience, not the mark. Done right, a rebrand signals growth and gives loyal customers something to be proud to wear, drive, and share. Done wrong (rushed, inconsistent) — that's when confusion happens.

"We'll do it ourselves in Canva."

You can. And a year in you'll have 14 versions of the logo, 3 blues that don't match, and a signmaker asking which file is the real one. A brand system exists so that doesn't happen.

"It's too expensive."

The expensive version is running mismatched brand pieces for five more years, reprinting apparel three times, and paying separate design agencies, print shops, and installers. We consolidate all of it under one roof.

"We have to change everything at once."

Not always. We build phased rollout plans — new signage and vehicles first, apparel over the next order cycle, print collateral as it runs out. Predictable, budget-friendly, still cohesive.

06 · Why Jellyfish

Design agencies design.
We design AND deliver.

Most rebrands die in the handoff. Agency delivers the PDF. Now you're calling three print shops, two sign guys, and a wrap installer — hoping the colors match, the files are right, and everyone reads the guidelines you paid $15k for. We eliminated the handoff. Same team designs it and makes it.

07 · What to expect

Timeline, budget, and what "done" looks like.

Timeline

Most rebrands run 6–12 weeks from kickoff to launch. Refreshes can wrap in 3–4. Full rebuilds with naming take longer. We build a real calendar with you upfront.

Investment

Rebrands are scoped, not templated. We quote the work in phases so you always know what's next and can pause between them if needed. No surprise invoices.

Ownership

You own everything — logo files, brand guidelines, print-ready art, all of it. Delivered in every format (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, PNG, embroidery DST/EMB).

Let's make it look like you.

Free 30-minute rebrand consult. We'll tell you honestly whether you need a refresh, a rebrand, or a rebuild — and what it'll take.
